Lake nearby La Fougeraie

Enjoy the natural lake

A nice natural recreational lake is only 2 km away (20 minutes on foot, 5 minutes by car). The lake has running water because it is part of the river Senouire.


You can also canoe on the Allier river, play tennis, go horseback riding and enjoy the small historic railway. Close by you will find several castles and historic sites, waterfalls and beautiful rock formations.

La Chaise Dieu

La Chaise Dieu with its famous cathedral, abbey and classical music festival (August 17-27, 2023)  is on 10 min distance. Nice towns like Ambert with its market and Le Puy en Velay with its historic centre are close by. The towns and villages around offer great restaurants.
